Journal of Materials Research Communications

Open Access Policy

JMRC is a fully open access journal. Every article is freely available to everyone, everywhere, immediately on publication, with no embargo and no subscription or registration required.

Our open access policy

JMRC provides immediate, free access to all of its content, in the belief that making research openly available supports the global exchange of knowledge. In line with the Budapest Open Access Initiative, anyone may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full text of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal or technical barriers, provided that the original work is properly cited.

Licence

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0), and authors retain copyright. See Copyright & Licensing for details.

Charges

Readers are never charged for access. The costs of publication are covered by an article processing charge (APC), which is payable only after a manuscript has been accepted; see Article Processing Charges.

Self-archiving

Authors may deposit any version of their article (submitted, accepted or published) in institutional or subject repositories, or share it on personal websites, at any time and without embargo.

Open metadata

Article metadata, including titles, abstracts, authors, affiliations and licence information, is openly available for harvesting through OAI-PMH, so that indexing services, libraries and repositories can reuse it freely.
